Matthew V Hamner

Matthew grew up in the small town of Prattville, Alabama, pretending either to be Steve Austin in the “Six Million Dollar Man” or James West in the “Wild Wild West.” After deciding that being a special government agent might prove too risky, he decided to pursue acting.

His acting dreams took him to New York, Los Angeles, Memphis, Texas, Washington D.C, Memphis, Florida, and Atlanta, where he performed onstage for a number of theatres. His performance as Steve Heidebrecht in “August Osage County” was described by one critic as “almost too good as the show’s smarmy pedo who comes on like a best pal.”

When Matthew is not acting, you might find him teaching theatre, dancing especially to “Footloose,” watching college football, singing in the church choir, or playing with his Irish Setter-Scarlet O'Hara Hamner.

Matthew is an Atlanta-based actor.
